For 20 years, I have been a senior executive in the payments industry, developing and implementing strategies to enhance business propositions. Working for public and private leading payment companies, I have been involved in all parts of the value chain, driving growth, transformation, and digitalisation. Driving changes in the payment ecosystem, as well as working and being connected with many stakeholders, were and are important aspects of my work.
Since 2018 I changed my agenda from being an executive to become more involved as an Independent Advisor and Non-Executive Director. I do like the entrepreneurial mindset and dynamics in the start-up scene. Therefore, I am an active investor in promising payment, fintech or tech start-ups. Working with companies, venture capital firms, and private equity companies, which pursue strategic roadmaps, keeps me engaged and provides me with insights and new ideas – on a daily basis.
